Welcome to Writing.Com. This is a great place to post your work and to learn and grow as an author.

Like you, I'm interested in speculative fiction, existentialism, and technology. I also like Nietzsche, Camus, and King--kind of an eclectic choice of authors. Interestingly, I just retired from a university with a medical center and a pharmacy program.

One thing I've found improves my writing is to read and critique other authors. Critiquing makes you think about what works and what doesn't. It also helps you in re-writes of your own work. You can find things to read, for example, on the review request page "Please Review. You can also post your own work there.
