For Camp Nano, I planned to complete 5 short projects, and I actually wrote a rough first draft of a Very Short project (1 poem) & rough plans for 2 more poems.
Since then, I've been knitting samples for the first chapters of the knitting book which I hope to draft by Christmas. I've had the idea for a few years so I think I can write the first draft quite quickly but I'd like to get the pattern 'squares' finished too. Luckily, I regularly have an hour or two when I'm watching television with family members, so that gives me plenty of knitting time.
My NanoWrimo and October Prep project will be world-building for a small geographic area setting suitable for adventure stories, women's interest stories, and murder mysteries - along the lines of 'Murder She Wrote' meets 'Secret Seven'.
