As far as I know, there isn't a limit on how many years of membership you can buy at once. From a practical perspective, whether the pre-purchase of "many" years at once is a good idea depends on whether you're sure your membership needs won't change in that interval -- having enough port space, the item types and features you want to use, having enough email space. Expected changes in your financial situation, memory issues, or being away from internet access for an extended period could be other reasons to consider it. Just for peace of mind, having two to three years prepaid and setting a yearly offsite calendar reminder (for any date that works well for you) to check your membership status and decide whether to add another year at the same level might make more sense. The site sends weekly reminder emails about expiring paid memberships for the 6 weeks before the expiration date. You can also set the New Email Notifications to Offsite Email option in My Account/Account Settings under Notification Options, for emailing your offsite email if you haven't logged into the site in so many days. Hope that helps. Northernwrites___ ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ ~~Image #603504 Sharing Restricted~~ |
