Weekly Goals

With a real doozy of a full day coming tomorrow, I have plenty of mundane but pressing work deadlines, I'll be tied up all day. Add to that three days at a conference, and I'm going to be hustling all week.

1) So, today I'm off, and I want to hit the 50% mark of the NaMoWriMo contest. I'm mainly working on my novella. I haven't found many more contests to enter, even though there are many out there. It's probably not a good month to struggle outside my genres.

I'm still ahead of schedule, with over 30,000 words, or 61%. I'd still like to find another contest or two.

2) I need to check my laptop to make sure all is well before I pack it. I still need to write in the evenings, even when I'm away.

Check... helped me immensely.

3) I'm also going to check again to see if I have some story ideas that fit with a contest. In my spare time. I would like to write on something else, and not just one item.

I haven't had a chance yet, but over the weekend, I will.
