With an Upgraded membership, you can upload a photo into an Image item. Those are listed in your portfolio the same as any other item. You can use the search box in the left nav menu to search your port for Image items. They are displayed elsewhere by using the item number in the image tag -- WritingML Help for image.

Currently you don't have any Image items.

It looks like you uploaded the photo as the cover of an item --

If it's an uploaded cover, you can use the item number in the image tag as well.

Note that images work better for covers when they're square.
