A Terrifying Contest Of Horror And Three Time Quill Award Winner! |
Grandma got run over by a reindeer Walking home from our house Christmas eve You can say there's no such thing as Santa But as for me and grandpa we believe She'd been drinking too much eggnog And we begged her not to go But she forgot her medication And she staggered out the door into the snow When we found her Christmas morning At the scene of the attack She had hoof-prints on her forehead And incriminating Claus marks on her back Hi there, SCREAMERS!!! and SCREAMERETTES!!! Do you know what day it is? It’s 2 DAY/2,000 WORD WEDNESDAY for goodness sake! So today I’m going to use one of my favorite prompts: YOU OR YOUR CHARACTER(S) WAKE UP ON CHRISTMAS MORNING TO FIND THAT ONE OF THE PRESENTS UNDER THE TREE HAS APPARENTLY ‘CHEWED’ ITS WAY OUT OF ITS BOX. Oh, no! What was it? And where is it? What I really like about this prompt is you can actually do this with a little preparation beforehand, especially if you have young children. Imagine the looks on their faces as the whole family quickly begins searching the house trying to find this unknown creature! It’s a lot of fun, but you have to keep a straight face. It makes for a very memorable and exciting Christmas morning, although the children might never forgive you for pulling this stunt. Believe me, I know! As always, time begins now and ends Friday at noon, WdC time! Have fun! I know I did! |
