Forum reply posts are listed in the Forum item for anyone to read. Reply notifications for Forum posts do not contain the content of the reply post -- the recipient must return to the Forum item to read the content.

A reply post only sends a notification to the post that it actually replies to. If you're using Threaded view, you need to use the Reply button in the header of a post to open that post's reply form.

If you're saying the same thing to multiple people, you'd reply to the post where it was most appropriate, and tag the other people so they're sent a tagging notification. See Notifications from Writing.Com 101 . The reply notification would serve to alert the person who wrote the post you're replying to.

If you have separate responses to each of the other people, you would reply to each post separately, and they'd each get their own reply notification.
