Greg and Liz were walking towards the restaurant to celebrate their first date anniversary. At one point Greg stops.
“I can’t wait any longer, I just want to do this now. Two years ago, we had our first date,” said Greg.
He reached in his coat pocket and pulled out a small box. He got down on one knee and opened it. There was a diamond ring inside. And was about to ask the question when a small earthquake shook the ground. The ring fell out of the box and into a sewer drain. The Greg panicked and ran over to the drain. He can see the ring. He might be able to get it out, he thought. He stuck his hand in, but it was not quite reachable, a little short. Then, he got an idea. He reached in his coat and pulled out a pencil, and tried again. He was able to pick it up with the pencil. He got the ring out and turned to his girlfriend. He asked the question, and she said yes. But, she decided to wait until it was clean, before wearing it. They continued to walk to the restaurant, as an engaged couple.
