Hi Everyone!

I'm brand new here and I am just starting to take my first steps around the site. It's a little overwhelming right now as there seems to be so much content.

I'm hoping to find a community where I can critique and also workshop my writing - mostly mildly quirky fantasy, horror, sci-fi stuff with the occasional bit of humour. I'm a sporadic writer - sometimes prolific, sometimes a bit barren but I'm working towards gittin' stuff done this year.

What are your biggest takeaways from the site and what have you found to be the most positive aspects?

I'm just wondering if this will be the place where I'll feel I belong.
