I'm currently reading M.K. Jemisin's The Fifth Season, the first book in the series that has snatched the Hugo Award for best novel three years in a row (the first to do so, ever).
It's slow reading the first 100 pages or so, but that's about the only complaint I can come up with. They are truly excellent books.
