Prompt two 10 lines
My Scream


Can you hear me?
Can you hear me scream your name
into the night?
Can you feel the burning stare from my eyes
as my head points down?
I scream to you, looking with hope for the answer.
But I hear only that dull thobbing
sound in my ear.
No words,
No comfort.
