JUST watch out for the "Scammer" ones... who are NOT on the level... they steal the work or over charge and no give you the services that you require... you gotta know who and what you are dealing with... RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH!

I ran into one like that and almost lost my work to someone who was lying and scamming to call it theirs and cut you out of what you might earn on it. If you hit it right though, which I haven't yet. (hardly ready for that step but almost) you will be setting up a future... rule of thumb you are NOT going to get rich oh this quickly... charge an average ongoing price and maybe 3 dollars over and that is your cut that you will take... sell alot those 3 dollars add up quickly. If a Bookstore or someone who is on the level (aka b dalton and others) and want to buy it set it up where you get a cut of those profits they earn by selling your book. NEVER take JUST an upfront advance from it. They could sell like mad and you wont get a cut of the over time profits. (what i read about it already in researching self pub)

It is alot of work going this route, but its HARD as heck to get in with a publisher (big leagues) because of the stringent guidelines they have and you had better have an AGENT... For this route you better be on your 'A' Game...

This is not a route you take right away... unless you are a pro author who has been published before...
