This isn't enough information to be able to tell what the problem is.

However, at a guess, one does not use a b-item link to create a link to a Forum post. Item links only work for items. For Forum posts, you must use a post link. WritingML Help for post

At another guess, the Autocompleter starts with items you own (or posts you have made). The system cannot read your mind to offer you an ID number (etc.) from elsewhere. To turn off the Autocompleter and do a copy/paste of the correct ID number you've retrieved yourself, type a space after the colon in the tag, and then copy/paste the ID number from where you got it, and then go back and take out the space.
