Weekly Goals

My goal for the week of May 20, 2019, is to complete my final assignment for the Rising Stars Program.The assignment is titled "My 15 Minutes". I will be writing about being famous or meeting someone famous. I plan to write about meeting Ellie Wiesel, author of the Nobel Peace PrizeNight, and actor George Clooney. I have studied a great deal about the Holocaust and had visited the National Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C. They visited the University of South Carolina to talk about the genocide in Dafur. It was a great honor to meet Dr. Wiesel in person. I enjoyed meeting Mr. Clooney as well. Dr, Wiesel is the voice of the millions killed during the Holocaust. "We must never forget".
