GPs are WDC currency. You can buy as much and as many as you like.
You'll also find that when folks review your work, they typically attach a few, and when they thank you for reviewing their work, they attach a few. Further, as you review, the Site offers a few. And as your reviews appear on the Public Review Page, others may drop a few your way. *Reviewing is the best way to earn GPs.

If you wish to purchase some, the side bar on the left has a SHOP category. Click on it and you can see all the nifty things you can purchase, including memberships and GPs.
