If Whata's instructions on getting Chrome for iPad don't solve the problem --

So are you trying to edit an existing Static item (you have already saved it once)?
Or are you trying to change the drag&drop/Simple text in the Body text box of a new Static item -- and you haven't saved it yet?

What format was the file you drag&dropped? The drag and drop process supports these file types: MS Word .doc and .docx document files, .rtf files from any program, and .txt files from any program. Images in the file are not supported. There is a limit to how large the file can be.

And is anything touching the keyboard or mousepad (other than fingers on the keys you're trying to hit). Is it close to anything magnetic? Sometimes wonky things like that are caused by a mousepad or mouse wearing out.
