Word Pictures Contest

Well it's been quite a while since I've logged in here, I practically had to blow dust off the keyboard when I signed in. Sadly I've fallen prey to the vicious cycle of work, eat and sleep. Before I knew it, it was already July! Thankfully this holiday will give yours truly a chance to relax and finally catch up on some writing and reviewing.

Time to take a look at the recent batch of entries!

None of you pulled any punches, ranging from light-hearted jaunts about summer days and childhood mischief to heavy themes such as abuse, murder, self-harm... The list goes on! This was a very sobering and tricky round to judge, but sadly only one person can take home the crown.

! The gruesome fate of Jane and the poor rabbit who bore witness was a chilling, somber tale that stuck with me.

Speaking of that... I would like to thank everyone for sticking with me, especially during the more turbulent times of my life. You'll find a token of appreciation in your inboxes tomorrow I would send them out tonight but I'm turning into a pumpkin as we speak! Early to bed and early to rise doesn't seem to be making me healthy or wise... but not for lack of trying
