Response rates vary. Besides what the others mentioned, AutoRewards seldom reply, newbies often don't, and members who are crazy overextended might catch up on review replies a few times a year. If someone's last on date (hover on their case icon) shows private or is more than a few days ago, they might be away for an extended time.

People join the site for different reasons. Review replies are one of your people-sorting mechanisms. The site experience is best when you find people who are here for the same reason you are. For reviewing strategies, see Seeking Reviews from Writing.Com 101 .

Took at look at your BioBlock. To find what you came here looking for, it works best to be in a review-exchange group or in an exchange partnership.

Since you write fantasy, check out "WYRM" . While you're there, check out their affiliated reviews, which is linked in the Group Tools menu at the upper right under the item header info, and if you think you can keep up with their style of reviewing, go through their application process. Or participate in their annual contest coming up next month, and then apply.

A general group for your genre, such as "Fantasy and Science Fiction Society" , might also fit.
