GabriellaR45 -- Well, it's not that newsfeed/Notebook bug where it doesn't show up for the person who posted the note. I checked and there's no note from today in your Notebook. If you've already tried the back button without finding it, then there's nothing more to be done. It's gone. When the page gets lost during a submit operation, nothing arrives on the site to store. This is the built-in hazard of working in an online environment instead of in word processing software on your computer. Which is why the site recommends working in word processing software and saving it there, and then copy/pasting to the site. The site also recommends doing a Ctrl-a, Ctrl-c (copy all to clipboard) in the body of whatever you're doing before submitting a page. The prevention of writing "defensively" is your best option. Your Chrome browser shows a version number of Chrome/57.0.2987.110. That looks wildly out of date since Chrome is up to version 79. Please make sure you've got the latest version available for your system. If this happens again, you could try the Ctrl-z key combo first, to see if you can undo what was just done (as long as it wasn't a submit). If that fails (or after a submit), then try the browser back button. Just don't count on them working. I've noticed they don't work a lot more often than they used to a few years ago. That's not a site thing. It's a browser thing. Hope that helps. Northernwrites___ ~~Image #6000 Sharing Restricted~~ ~~Image #603504 Sharing Restricted~~ |
