Your anniversary month is the month in which you created your account.

If you currently have an upgraded membership and you purchase a year of premium membership, the premium membership becomes effective immediately, and you receive a GP refund for the days remaining of the upgraded membership which is calculated as described in Increase Your Paid Membership Level from Writing.Com 101 .

You'd renew again when the premium expires in a year. So, yes, your renewal date would change.
