cold-calling to ask for ideas tends to get interpreted as lazy and mining other people for gold (why should I think of stuff so you can write it when I could do it myself).
But, some people like to riff with others, and you can learn about how to make an idea more complex or how many variations of you idea there can be (some people get stuck that their idea MUST be one specific way).
So asking for where people do that brainstorming, is a really good approach.
:(sorry I don't know those places, but I am glad you didn't ask "can somebody give me an idea to write about" :)
