It was very helpful, in that I didn't realize I needed to be inside the folder that I wanted to search. When I tried the Search function inside the Sent folder, and other, specialized folders that I have, it does work.

But I still cannot get search results in the "Body" of messages in the Inbox when I am actually in my Inbox. For instance, the most recent email I have in my Inbox contains the word "Babylonian," but when (while in my Inbox) I search my Inbox for "Babylonian" in the "Body", it returns 0 results. The "To" and "From" and "Subject" fields, though, do work for me when searching the Inbox.

I suppose there's an easy enough workaround if it continues to afflict me without you being able to reproduce it: Just move my Inbox messages into a special folder and search through it!
