You have made a mistake which you will need to correct yourself by editing wherever it happened.

The error message #43618697 which you received said:

No entry with that number could exist because entry ID numbers are only up to the 1007000's.

Therefore, what you're trying to link to is not an entry. You cannot use an entry link to get a valid link to that thing. You must use the proper kind of link.

An ID number of that value is likely for an ITEM. Try correcting what you typed to be a proper item link. For example:

{item:1937709}

is processed to produce

"~ The Poet's Place Cafe~" 

or

{b-item:1937709}

is processed to produce

FORUM

~ The Poet's Place Cafe~  (E) A place for discussion on poetry, reviews, contests, etc. #1937709 by Dave
