Re: delete from favorites
If you open the My Favorites window, each link has a checkbox at the left and an x at the far right. If you click the x, you'll be prompted to confirm deletion. If you select one or more checkboxes and then scroll to the very bottom, there's functionality there to batch-delete everything checked.

For just deleting one Favorite, the x is probably quickest.
