Hi there, J!

From what I've seen, writing.com (you'll see it abbreviated as WdC quite a bit) is a pretty welcoming group, but should absolutely feel free to engage and post writing at your own pace.

If it makes you feel any better, you may free to read any of my stuff, You'll see LOTS of examples of work that's well below the "perfect" threshold. *BigSmile*

In my experience, everyone here is aiming to help, not be judgmental of your work. Their feedback can be invaluable as a tool to improve as a writer, if that's what you're looking for. It can also simply be fun to receive acknowledgement that others have read and enjoyed your work.

Anyway, I hope that you decide to give posting a story or poem a try once you're settled in. If not, there is plenty to read around here as well. Enjoy!
