An Upgraded membership costs 499,500 GPs. You can shop with GPs here:
Points/Shop with Gift Points. The prices are shown in Gift Points right in the selection form. When you select the membership you want, the price is done automatically = you do not have to type in the number. You only have to have enough GPs to cover the price.

When you buy a higher membership, you are sent GPs for the remaining days of the lower membership that are overlapped as described in Increase Your Paid Membership Level from Writing.Com 101 .
