By agreeing to the user agreement, you're giving them permission to display your writing where you post it (items in your port, forum posts, news feed notes, etc.) to other viewers.

Material = what you upload. Mostly that would be words consisting of typed characters. That could be poetry, short stories, novels, memoir, nonfiction, essays, articles, etc. However, it may not contain anything that looks like an ad, because spam is forbidden. Users also have some ability to upload images in certain file formats, and one of the paid memberships allows short audio files of certain types.
