Noticing Newbies

Hello!
I just joined this site, after stumbling upon a link for it on an article that's all about finding Beta Readers.
I hope to find a beta reader for my current work one day, but in the meantime, I can't wait to meet all of you!

A bit about my current project.
It's about vampires. I know! But.
It's about this young woman who posts a blog article about a slain girl. Human, of course. However, the vampires have taken over most of the ruling organs of the country and want to keep the story safely tucked away. So no one can see it, read it or question the events that happened.
Of course, the main protagonist finds articles and other information about the slain girl and finds out she was very, very close to a vampire politician.
She posts about the murder and receives a response from the vampire government. There's a bounty on her head.
Together with the vampire politician, she has to find answers and basically dethrone the current ruler.
