A letter to myself pointing to some possible personal achievements in this year of grace.
My not so dear me, you know already that I am not so proud of your last, the year before, the ten years before deeds. It's time to wake up! At least now while still wearing that face masque. Up to this moment, you wore that multicolour masque on your heart. Nobody could read yourself or see the true you except your soulmate, your angel now following that, unpreventive heart disease. Since then, twenty-three years ago, you pretend you are happy and content with the work you do even though it was not your profession or your calling. You make jokes all the time; people around you believe that you are strong and happier than them. My dearest me, you are such a good liar! Wake up now!

It's 2022, the second year when people don't die of any diseases except from COVID-19 or because of COVID-19. You got the vaccine, but nobody knows that you are fully immunized against living life on this planet. Nobody knows that you consider yourself only a stranger in transit. You do whatever it takes to have bread and coffee, toilet paper, clean water and good pillows, but you are just eager to die. So, please wake up! Soul masque off! Start to write your memoir! Your struggles in your lovely communist homeland, your forced emigration, your life as a lonely, non-English speaking single mother immigrant, low-life union bosses on both sides of the planet. Write about poorly-educated, low class, lack of integrity workplace managers. Write every single day or night of 2022! Before you notice, it's December again! Fast, faster please! Start now, do not wait for somebody else to write for you. Soul masks off, please! Start now, tomorrow it's too late. You can still laugh with people around you. I am still here, but no shadow! It's a sunny day!
