"Clear" She whispers as she peaks around the hollow hallway, but by the time She turns around they are out the window and giggling with excitement that they have broken free without anyone knowing. Anyone important that is. "She will never tell" they thought as they walk with esteem to the block party. As they hustle, the youngest of the crew of 5 looks back to the house to see her standing in the same stance and position as before, on the opposite wall of the window, hands at her side, and empty eyes. She waves to get her attention and signals a hand motion to remind her to close the window. She surely won't forget if She remembers whats good for her. That was the thing. She doesnt remember, she tries hard not to. the only memories she has is the unpleasants of the 7 1/2 - 8 years she has lived. The youngest of the 5 prays and hopes JC remebers to close the window...



Anyone that knows JC knows she won't. Her mind is in scrambles and often drifts off. You say onething and her minds is chasing after another. By the time the 5 make it to the party and back she has already wrote 3 halves of a poem, none completed, finished the Sherlock homes book and is reading the end to the begining of the Baby Sitters Club book # 15. As she looks out the window to see the nights sky, just as the girl did in the book, JC thinks she starts to find what she has been dreaming of. Leaning out just enough to see the moon and feel the brisk, sweet winds that seemed to gracefully sweep off the Hudson and kiss her on her roughest parts. Two wezes and a cough was enough to spring her back into action. Close the window, hide the books, act as if your sleep. The door creeps open. Its Lisa, ''GET UP'' she warns, ''NOW !'' She demands...
