Combining Romance and Erotica
ROMANTICA


Combining romance and erotica isn't as easy as it seems. It's easy to get caught up in one genre or another while writing and have your work leaning toward one solitary genre. Romantica is a term being used to describe the cross between the two, but just what all does it entail? How hot can the story get so that it doesn't make the reader feel like they are delving into pornography or mainstream erotica?

This class will help you enhance both genres while mixing them together to write both a romantic and sensual piece that will be sure to heighten the story and add spice to your characters as they venture forward and explore the inner workings of their relationship. Just how attracted are they to one another? How much body language is present? Can others see the sparks flying from across the room? Does a romantic leading man still scream with sex appeal? Isn't it time for a woman to return the favor of wine and roses? Men shouldn't have all the fun when it comes to romance!

There will be six classes, and each class will deal with a specific scene to be written. For this class, you will use the same set of characters for the duration, while crafting different scenes around them so they explore romance and sensuality with each other. Get ready. I'm hoping this will be a sizzling ride!!
