In a crazy, mixed-up world, can we remember the good? A quick pick-me-up on a bad day.

With all the crap going on in the world, a person won't be blamed if it seems as if the world is going to a certain hot place in a handbasket. But instead of focusing on everything that's going wrong in the world, in our personal lives, in whatever it may be...

Let's focus on the good stuff.

Below, write something going on that you consider to be good, a blessing, or just something that makes you smile, laugh, what-have-you.

Starving children receive a shipment of food? Share it.

Your kid get a better grade than before? Share it.

You get a better grade? Share it.

Did you see a butterfly today?

Did you hear a child laugh?

Did you just hear a favorite song on the radio and sang along at the top of your lungs?

Did you hear a sermon in church or read something that touched you?

I just purchased some plants for my apartment that I didn't know I needed. A coleus and a flamingo plant. This place needs a little green.

It was a beautiful New Year. Attended a lovely wedding. First day of work in January. Work anniversary today. Saved for #projectonedollar #theyearssavings. Nice lunch with family. Bro will be opening cafe this year. Netflix with hubby for the countdown.

So many blessings!! The roof over my head, food on the table. Nanny is still with us at 97!! My son is still with us with the courage of a lion. My husband is my best friend and the love of my life. My mom is my best friend always my lull in life.

Someone I communicated with before her marriage, has been calling me lately after her divorce. I am grateful for the fact that after all that happened to her, she trusts me.

Thank you for blessing me, Duchess Laughing Lemurs ! The In & Out's title sent me straight to YouTube for a couple of versions of the hymn. I used to sing in a choir, and this hymn was a congregational favorite, so it was great to hear it again.

Today, I saw my favorite tree covered in ice. It was so beautiful and it made me realize that there's beauty in every season. I'm so lucky and blessed to be able to see the seasons change each and every year.

I have all my basic needs covered and many more. I'm so happy to have the means to keep a roof over my head, food in the fridge, and a car to get me back and forth to a job. I have much to be thankful for.

My youngest daughter found a friend today. It was amazing because she has trouble finding friend's she can relate too. She's a shy little artist, whom very rarely venture's too far away from the nest to make friend's.
