Zombie Haiku
One zombie filled night
An embrace caught me, teeth bit
Now I shamble on.

I have lost my way
And a number of fingers
Feet are still there though.

I was a hunter
A steely eyed night killer
Then I lost digits.

Brain toting humans
Laugh and point at me, then run
But I can’t keep up.

Those I catch, I lose
They easily slip through my palms.
I’d kill for a brain.

Will I live always?
I can’t die; been there, done that.
Will naked flame work?

Instead, someone shoots.
A bullet destroys my head.
Blessed relief. I die.
