Welcome to the Exercise Your Mind Judging and Helper Group

We are challenging you to exercise your minds, we have set up a few different genre short story challenges, with flash fiction, and added new and old poetry. You are not being asked to enter them all, but you can if you want to.

One of the new things we are doing is allowing you to show off your old stories. Each contest will have two sections, one for new and one for bragging about your old stories. We all have a few stories we have polished and set aside because no contest accepts old or it doesn't match the prompt. I want to see your best story, you know those old moldy, dusty, slaved over and made shiny that no one got to see the finished product. Please use the message forum of each type of contest to enter your entries. You are allowed two short story entries per contest. One old and one new and four flash fiction entries total of one per week for a month.

These are the contest listings for the challenge:

*StarR* Each contest will be different. Please read the guidelines for each contest you wish to enter!

Here are the rules I expect you to follow since you volunteered to be here:
1. Be kind to the people who enter.
2. Help them get their entries where they make sense.
3. If something isn't exactly the genre they are posting it in. Allow it because close is good enough, especially the old stories.
4. The rules are mostly guidelines nothing is set in stone.
5. If they ask for a little rule bending allow it.
6. If they bother to enter a late entry in any flash fiction accept it and post it for the week it was intended for.
7. The reason for this is we are not going to judge these until the end of the month.
8. In reality they have the whole month to do all four flash entries.
9. They don't need to know this, just accept the late entries without telling them why you did it.
10. You are allowed to enter any contest you not helping or judging.
11. I will need a helper for the Reviewing contest to scan the forum and post the entries.
12, Because this one has four parts to it a judge and I will work and post in the second part.
13. The helper is free to enter reviews in it as well.
14. The cosplay, snap-chat, and Imagination contests are something I am experimenting with.
15 Everyone is allowed to enter them because I will be the only judge. However any help is welcome.
16. The Chapter review contest is open to all as well.
17. Any help on it is welcome, but I still will pick the ones I review.
18. If we get a lot of entries in any of the other contests we will set up a poll of eight entries per poll and have the group vote on them.
19. Everyone gets one vote per poll.
20. If we have a tie then the judge assigned to the contest will decide the winners.

Note:
As I think of more things you need to know I will post them here. This is a rule I try and follow always. When in doubt always rule on the side of mercy. It is much easier to make a friend than create an enemy.
