FADE IN

INT. BEDROOM – BLUE SPRINGS, MO – LATE AFTERNOON

SPACEFACTION, late fifties, sits in his recliner with this
laptop on his lap. He has just finished checking both of his
accounts on WDC. Then he shrinks it to an icon. A few
seconds later he brought up his Microsoft Word program. It
already has a document on it. SpaceFaction flexes his
fingers to continues with what he has already began.

Mumbling SpaceFaction re-read what he has written so far.
He does that all the time when he’s writing.

                    SPACEFACTION
               (mumbling softly to himself)
          This is a group for all the other
          Scriptwriters out there. Its purpose is
          to get us together to discuss anything
          related to scriptwriting. It can be
          about your latest script. Maybe you
          have a question on scriptwriting.
          Whatever it is we are here to discuss
          it, and to help us all become better
          scriptwriters too.

After re-reading what he has just written, SpaceFaction
leans back in his recliner and closes his eyes. A few
seconds later he sat up to continue his writing.

                    SPACEFACTION
               (continues mumbling)
          Are you curious about scriptwriting?
          Have you already sold a script or
          scripts? Do you like to try something
          different? Are you in the industry like
          an agent, producer, director, etc.? If
          you can answer ‘yes’ to one or more of
          these, then this is the group for you.

SpaceFaction smiles. He leans forward slightly to begin his
typing again.

                    SPACEFACTION
               (he continues mumbling)
          What I would like to see happen to this
          group is for every scriptwriter on WDC
          to join it. Even the non-scriptwriters
          like agents, producers, directors, etc.
          are welcomed to join. In fact, I would
          really like to see non-scriptwriters to
          join our group. I don’t know if we have
          any of them on WDC, but if we do I would
          like for them to join the rest of us
          too. Discussion with them would help the
          rest of us become better scriptwriters.

Sighing, SpaceFaction closes his eyes again. He only does it
for a few seconds before he continues his mumbling.

                    SPACEFACTION
               (some more mumbling)
          I will admit that the main reason for
          starting this group is to increase the
          participation for my contests and my
          challenges, but that isn’t the only
          reason. I’m serious about scriptwriting,
          and I want everyone else as crazy as me
          to be too. If you would like to join the
          rest of us in this group you can email
