Yes...the tomboy red head. Misty was at the Cerulean gym when her sickness occured.

She was in the midst of a particularly tough battle against some kid from Lilycove.

Misty's Starmie was almost K.O.'d, and she only had her Goldeen left, but the kid still had an Absol left.

"It's all over now Red, you should just gimme that badge now!" The kid said haughtily.

Misty couldn't focus however, she was having a major headache and couldn't focus. She heard some kind of Flu was spreading, and Misty tried to stay healthy, but it seemed she was sick now.

"J-just Shut up!!" Misty said waving her fist. "Starmie use water gu-AAGH!" Misty screamed, she fell into one of the nearby bodies of water, and became...
