He teases you about the book

"Ha. Stupid girl..." Mat said, much to your displeasure. Yup, He's gonna be in his girl-phobia mode

"What di you say?" you demanded.

""You really can't believe that junk. Like mad science" Mat said.

"i don't believe it and you know it" you snapped. "I just found this thing. And what's with your 'you're a girl, so you must be dumb' thing?"

"But you girls are dumb. You're icky and gross and..." Mat said, droning. You're heard it before, and it certainly is tiresome. While you knew better to say it, you siad it anyway. "Sometimes i wish you was 'Mattie' instead of Mat. Maybe you wouldn't find girls gross if you was one."

"Ewww. No way I'd want to be a dumb girl like you!" Mat said disgusted as he ran off. Neither he, or you noticed the figure in the shadows that listened to the entire conversation. Nor did you see him smile at the mention of 'Mattie'.....

The next morning..

1. You woke up to Mat's screams
