The howling wind swishes loudly up against the house, I am not sure which is louder the Dog scratching at the door or the wind rattling the tree limb against the window above my bed. Spring will be welcomed with eagerly by the my dog Billy Jo. Come in I know its cold isn't it!

Billy Jo I think my heart feels as cold as that air that just swept inside just now. come here let momma snuggle you. At least I still have you in my life, sound lonely don't I guess I am missing my house full of kids. come on we will go make something warm to eat. you got any ideas. wait! what is that, okay I am scare Grrr. Shh Billy Jo quiet. Crap our light out again and scared too. How can I really be this scared at my age 54 and here I am scared of the dark or the strange noise that has my dog upset. Okay I am going to face this noise and grab it by the horns as my mom would say.

BAM! the door slams against the wall. Now its time BOOM! My shoot gun lights up the room in a flash second and a dark shadow runs past the door and out to the large yard followed by a screaming dog. you better keep running and don't ever come here again there is more of that waiting for you right here. Boom goes the second blast into the empty black empty shadows. my breathing was quick and shallow but is all I can hear then locking the door. Shaking began to rattle my entire body and was deafening.
