Try to tell the truth

Your throat goes dry, as you try to answer. It's hard to believe that she's blind to her changes. But, the reality is hard to deny.

"I'm sure this shirt fitted, and I only bought it yesterday." The unspoken question is clear, and the sincerity in her eyes is clear too.

"Well, I'm no fashion expert. It does display a lot of cleavage." you try to answer diplomatically.

"Is that the look you wanted?" Her lips purse, and tighten, "Maybe just a different top." you suggest, and she brightens.

She pulls on the loosest knitted top you've ever seen, and posed there for your opinion.
