Creatures of myth and fiction rule the Earth. Humans are second-class citizens at best, living under the constant threat of being eaten or enslaved. Some monsters have taken pity on the humans and their plight, however, the forces conspire against all to preserve this system and sustain the human numbers for the everlasting suffering of their race.

Most humans don't seem to mind their lesser existence anymore and live their lives in routines only broken by their fearful cries of pain when the teeth of maneaters are sunk into their flesh.

The dissident aggressors take to the streets, running free while they can.
