my brother was my hero.He came home from ww2 a hero He came home with a purple heart. that really ment nothing to me at the time .I was just a small girl he came home to take care of mom my sister and I.He was our dad our provider and our mentor. he was only 18 years old. During those years my brother taught me many things .He taught me to fish he taught me to row.my greatest joy in the winter . to bring him his lunch when he was ice fishing on sunset lake . He took me to the rodeo ro see Gene Autry down in boston garden. He also brought my first doll .He had all Kinds off beautiful rifles .he kept them out back we were told never to touch them and we never did. He worked verey hard for us never thinking about himself . he was a sportsman loving hunting fishing and bowling . After he had married and I had married . we saw each other only twice when my mom and sister died we were diffirent more oddistant. we never called each other or visited. about 8 years ago my sister called and he had moved to florida. withn two years he had died. the funeral was over and life went on I been thinking alot about him lately He truly was a good dad brother and mentor sleep well we will see each other some Edgar
