cast of characters:

The Clown Prince: A villain who uses tickling as his weapon of choice and Summer's arch-enemy. He's often followed around by an entourage of Clown Girls, kidnapped girls brainwashed into his servitude through tickling.

Summer Salt: A rookie teen detective. As if Nancy Drew had a tickle fetish.

Susan "Mouse" Salt: Summer's curious younger sister who also loves herself a good adventure. Follows after Summer despite the former's objections.

Pao-Ting: A Chinese teen genius, inventor and Summer's self-appointed rival. Their relationship is...complicated.

Chris (male): Summer's male best friend since kidergarten. Well-meaning but clumsy, and firmly loyal to Summer, who he secretly has a crush on.

Jamie (female): Summer' spirited female friend. "Big sister" figure to the group who likes to play tricks on her friends.

Chris (female): A shy and mousy girl. Though often sidelined by the others, her true determination is revealed as soon as she's the only one left standing.

Jamie (male): A boastful bad boy, the big brother figure of the group.

(as always, Chris and Jamie's genders are picked by the readers.)
