working to pay the bills in a job you hate
once again my alarm clock goes
another day of worry and woe

to live for money or money to live

in the shower im close to tears
ive been in this job for 20 odd years

out the door and in the car
soon at work its not that far

to live for money or money to live

doctors say ill be ok
take these pills it will go away

to live for money or money to live

lifes no fun anymore
im stuck on the factory floor

sadness has taken over my life
if i keep this up ill lose my wife
