Musing on the boxes we put ourselves into
Boxes

We put ourselves in boxes
Build walls both tall and strong
Fortify the barricades
Against the hateful throng

Surrounded by our certitude
That our beliefs are true
If you think something different
Then the fault must lie with you

But deep within our trenches
Over walls, we cannot see
That the problem is the boxes
And the fault may lie with me
