I'm glad for you that the cysts and other irregularities weren't malignant; too easy it could've been the other way round. Often malignant diseases are so long symptomless until it's too late; that's what makes them malignant.

I so felt for you when I imagined you sitting in the examination room thinking everything from that it's harmless till asking yourself how bad it really is... that is mental torture.

Maybe you being late for your prescription for new anti-baby-pills was a God ruled thing like you chose to believe, but I think it depends on the Point of View. I think you were very busy in college, forgot about renewing the prescription and when you found out, while looking for a solution for the problem it came out by accident that there were anomalities.

I guess you're more conscious now about your health after experiencing this shock and that's the positive thing about it.
