Prompt: "Greet the dawn with a breath of fire."Harold and Maude (1971)


First impression: Storytelling that doesn't involve stanzas has always been a struggle for me. I get so far and then I stall. I really admire those that can tell a good story easily and keep me engaged until the end. This story definitely kept me interested until the end and it was not predictable, which is always a plus. I didn't have an inkling has to where the story was going and I was really unconcerned because I was enjoying the ride.*Smile* I love the way you set up your story. The ambiance that you staged allows your readers to settle in before they are thrown off the cliff and into the middle of the action. The imagery is also beautifully drawn and brings your story to life convincingly.

The transition from the past into the present was seamless and brought your readers from panic to victory to a hopeful and promising future. I really wanted to read what became of the new tiny fire breathing dragon and learn of all of their adventures. Again, a nicely written story.

Final thoughts: A nicely written and entertaining story that immediately speaks of a weakening race but finds hope and new beginnings at what could have been the end.
