W !!!If my GPs account were a bit larger at this time, I'd be giving this sweet story an Awardicon. As it is, however, I decided to give you 217 GPs -- while encouraging anyone who is in the mood and position to give an awardicon to give this story a read. However, let me warn future readers that this is a story that has "Future Hallmark Channel Movie!!!" floating out of it like butterflies taking flight from a meadow.If you're a cynic when it comes to love and romance, this might not be your kind of story -- but, then again, this might be the story that will win you over and melt away your cynicism. Even in Hallmark movies, not every leading man and lady start out all warm and fuzzy. In fact, some start out not only a bit cynical about love but, also, downright bitter. When you read Shaara 's story, it could very well possibly be an introduction into this genre that will hook you and leave you wanting more.This is how it begins: “I want you to know that I will never forget you,” she said, as she walked away. Carol was nine when she left, and I never saw her again, but I thought of her often, the butterfly who took wing and soared into the sky. Throughout this story, there is a recurring theme of butterflies, footprints, and friendship -- a theme of treehouses and other high places. There is a theme of arrivals and departures -- and the fast lane life of the city compared to the calmer life of the country. This story is a journey from childhood to youth to early adulthood to older adulthood. "Deeper Friendships" is a gentle story that will leave you feeling mellow...
