Ahoy, Winchester, and happy 12 *Shock2* 'birthday' on here!
I don't know what contest this was for, but as a lover/reader/writer and judge of horror, I though this was pretty cool!
Yes, there's some mild repetition in it that might annoy some readers (like the cat's tail swishing back and forth so many times and the door not opening so many times), but I thought that just added to the story in a beneficial way. Besides, it's simple and to the point: the cat wasn't getting fed, the boy wasn't opening his door, so the cat decided to eat the flesh of the dead mother!
What more could you ask for? *Laugh* *Smirk2*
Talk about a surprise/twisted ending! I love it! Dark minds think alike!
