Howdy, PureSciFi, and happy early 5th 'birthday' on here!
This isn't bad, but it seemed a little simple. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but other than the tombstone speaking to the kids and scaring them bejeesus out of them, it fell a little flat, at least in my opinion (for what that's worth).
I know you had word limit, and I know these 300 word FFs aren't easy, so I can't really fault you there. You did a good job with the prompt words though.
Niggles:
“That wasn’t a real Gillin(,) was it,”
“Let’s go (to) another supposedly haunted house.”
"Watch were you are going,” (where)
