This is a lovely and delusional poem about parents who unconditionally love their children. It's true that this is the ideal, one that is not always met. But, I'd like to believe more often than not a parent would do all and more for their offspring. Truth is there are a lot of horrible parents out there who cannot meet the standard of this poem. This does not lessen the meaning or impact of the poet's words. It sets the standard, as was often done in earlier days to teach and inform the young and parents how to be. It's unfortunate that it is not fully realized in our societies throughout the world. As always, impeccably written with rhythm and rhyme to implore the message. Well received.
